The aim of ICBTech is the development of software products and engineering services in the area of contemporary industrial communication protocol known as IO-Link. ICBTech is one of the worldwide first companies that has designed IO-link software of the upcoming ISO/IEC IEC 61131-9 standard. Thus ICBTech has gained strong know-how in this brand-new field of industrial communication technology. We plan to offer engineering services for the utilization, integration and extension of the protocol stack for the IO-link industrial communication standard, for customer-specific embedded system solutions, and development of advanced software tools for configuring, parameterization of devices and data analysis.

Development
Our work as third-party developers includes the following projects:
Master IO-Link protocol stack v1.1
Software implementation of the IO-Link version 1.1 protocol stack for the master device. It is already implemented on STM32F103 microcontroller. An implementation on other customer’s platform will follow.
Device IO-Link protocol stack v1.1
Software implementation of the IO-Link version 1.1 protocol stack for device side. It is already implemented on STM8S105C6 microcontroller. An implementation on other customer’s platform will follow.
Museum Guide
An electronic handheld device with touch-screen display which provides a recorded spoken commentary in multiple languages to a museum visitor. It provides background, context and information on the objects being viewed. Content may be reproduced with or without user interaction. These devices can provide museum management with useful statistics and reports.
Competences
The company’s core competences are in embedded system programming, Android platform programming, design and management’s experience in development and implementation of complex embedded systems. Strategically ICBTech is targeting to become a competence center for industrial communication interfaces that offers consulting and integration services manufacturer of tooling that supplements the employment of said interface technology.
